Terms
Updated October 14, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Work In Progress LLC ("WIP", "we") for Gui, the Mac app, and the Gui account service. If you use Gui, you agree to these terms and to the privacy page.
Your account
You need a Gui account to use Gui. Keep access to your sign-in method safe. You are responsible for what happens with your account. Tell us if you think that someone else uses it.
Emails from us
When you make a Gui account, you agree that WIP can send marketing emails to the address on your account, about Gui and our other products. You can stop them at any time in Gui, under Settings → Account, or with the unsubscribe link in any of these emails. We also send emails about your account and sign-in, which you cannot turn off while you have an account.
Your work
Your projects, code, and designs are yours. Gui does not get rights to them. Gui runs on your Mac, and changes that your agent makes are in your files and in your git history.
Agents and other services
Gui works with coding agents and services that other companies make, such as Claude Code, Codex, and GitHub. Your use of them is under their terms and their prices. We are not responsible for them or for what an agent does to your code. Examine changes before you ship them.
Use Gui correctly
Do not use Gui to break the law, to attack other systems, or to get access to data that is not yours. Do not try to break or overload the Gui account service.
No warranty
We give Gui "as is". We try to make it work well, but we do not promise that it is free of errors or always available. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, or for lost data, code, or profit, from your use of Gui.
Ending
You can stop using Gui and ask us to delete your account at any time. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.
Changes
If we change these terms, we change the date at the top. If you continue to use Gui after a change, you agree to the new terms.
Law
The laws of the State of Utah apply to these terms, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
